Evaluating Appellate Briefs

 Read the two opposing appellate briefs beginning on p. 465 and p. 490 of your textbook, and answer the following questions: 1.Why doesn’t the Appellee include a unique statement of jurisdiction? 2.Why does the Appellant use so many more authorities than the Appellee? 3.Are there any significant variations in the facts asserted by each party? Summarize the arguments in both appellate briefs and write about which one you find most convincing and why.
